Are You a Proven Business Operator Who Knows How to Lead Leaders and Deliver Results?

HTM Group is a growing, diversified group of Hawaii-based businesses operating in construction, field services, logistics, manufacturing, and related industries.

We are looking for an exceptional Chief Operating Officer / Integrator to lead our operations, develop our leadership team, strengthen profitability, and help scale our businesses.

This is not a traditional office management position.

We need a proven operator who has successfully led managers, owned financial results, improved operational performance, and built teams that consistently deliver.

You do not need to come from construction.

If you have successfully led a trucking or logistics company, distribution operation, manufacturing facility, multi-location retail business, industrial service company, or similar operation, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and hold Company and Division Managers accountable.
  • Drive profitability, productivity, and operating performance.
  • Develop strong leaders and high-performing teams.
  • Execute company goals and quarterly priorities.
  • Oversee multiple business operations and shared resources.
  • Improve systems, processes, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Solve complex business challenges and eliminate recurring problems.
  • Work directly with ownership to turn vision into execution.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • You are a proven operations executive who:
  • Has successfully managed managers and multiple operating departments.
  • Understands P&L, budgets, margins, cash flow, and cost control.
  • Has delivered measurable improvements in business performance.
  • Is confident making decisions and addressing underperformance.
  • Leads through accountability, delegation, and clear expectations.
  • Thinks strategically but knows how to execute.
  • Builds simple systems that produce consistent results.
  • Stays calm under pressure and takes ownership of outcomes.

Preferred Backgrounds: COO, General Manager, Regional Operations Director, District Manager, VP of Operations, or Multi-Location Operations Leader.

EOS experience is a plus, but not required. We can teach EOS. We are looking for someone who already knows how to lead, execute, and deliver results.

Our Operating Philosophy:

  • We follow the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and KISS principles:
  • Right People. Right Seats. Clear Accountability. Simple Systems. Measurable Results.
  • We believe exceptional businesses are built by exceptional leaders who take ownership and consistently execute.

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to lead and improve multiple established Hawaii businesses.
  • Direct partnership with an entrepreneurial ownership team.
  • Meaningful decision-making authority.
  • Opportunity to develop leaders and shape the organization's future.
  • Competitive executive compensation and benefits.
  • Performance incentives tied to measurable business results, if included in the approved offer.

This is a full-time, in-person executive leadership position requiring regular visits to job sites and operating facilities.

The COO is expected to be consistently available during normal business hours, with reasonable flexibility and additional hours as business needs require.

How to Apply:

Please submit your resume with cover letter and briefly answer these three questions:

  1. What is the largest operation you have personally led, including annual revenue or operating budget, employee count, and number of managers reporting to you?
  2. Describe a measurable improvement you personally led in profitability, productivity, or operational performance.
  3. How do you hold managers accountable without micromanaging their daily work?

Apply: HTM GROUP COO | EOS INTEGRATOR

We seek a proven leader with demonstrated results, not just an impressive title.
