Join HTM Contractors, Inc. as a Demolition & Excavation Apprentice / Laborer and gain hands-on experience in demolition, excavation, grading, site work, and heavy equipment operations.

No previous construction experience is required for the right individual. We're looking for dependable, hardworking people with a positive attitude, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn.

This is an opportunity to develop valuable trade skills while working alongside experienced field crews, equipment operators, and construction leaders.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday–Friday

• Occasional weekend and outer-island work may be required

• Overtime after 40 hours per week

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist field crews with demolition, excavation, grading, and site work.

• Safely use hand tools and construction equipment.

• Support Heavy Equipment Operators, Foremen, and other field employees.

• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.

• Learn construction safety procedures and field production practices.

• Assist with traffic control, trenching, cleanup, and site preparation.

• Follow instructions and work collaboratively with the crew.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Valid Hawai?i driver's license required.

• Clean driving abstract.

• Ability to meet applicable post-offer drug screening and background check requirements.

• Construction or general labor experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift at least 80 pounds throughout the shift.

• Comfortable performing physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.

• Ability to listen, follow instructions, and work safely with others.

• Positive attitude and interest in long-term career development.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• STARTING PAY: $23.00 Hourly

• Overtime after 40 hours per week
