Join HTM Contractors, Inc. as a Heavy Equipment Operator supporting our demolition, excavation, grading, and infrastructure operations.

We are looking for experienced operators who take pride in safe equipment operation, quality workmanship, productivity, and proper equipment care.

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday–Friday

Occasional weekend and outer-island work may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers, compactors, and other heavy equipment.

• Perform demolition, excavation, grading, and site work operations.

• Load trucks and stage construction materials efficiently.

• Support utility installation and infrastructure projects.

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.

• Identify and report equipment concerns or unsafe operating conditions.

• Coordinate equipment operations with Foremen and field crews.

• Operate safely around underground utilities, employees, structures, and other equipment.

• Maintain safe and organized jobsites.

• Follow work assignments and production schedules.

• Support efficient operations while maintaining safety and workmanship standards.

• Communicate field conditions, equipment concerns, and operational issues promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong experience operating heavy construction equipment.

• Demolition, excavation, grading, or infrastructure experience preferred.

• Ability to operate equipment safely around utilities, crews, and structures.

• Valid Hawai?i driver's license with a clean driving abstract.

• Ability to complete applicable post-offer pre-employment drug screening and background check requirements.

• Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality.

• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

• Ability to follow directions and communicate professionally.

• Strong attention to equipment care, productivity, and quality workmanship.

• Ability to work occasional weekends and outer-island assignments when required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• STARTING PAY: $38.00 Hourly

• Overtime after 40 hours

• Davis-Bacon / prevailing wage compensation on qualifying projects
