Join HTM Contractors, Inc. as a Fleet Mechanic and help maintain the vehicles and heavy equipment that support our daily operations.

We are looking for a skilled mechanic specializing in diesel engines, heavy equipment, and hydraulic systems. This position involves diagnosing mechanical problems, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, and ensuring company vehicles and equipment remain safe and operational.

HTM Contractors provides diversified services, including tree services, junk removal, roll-off dumpster rentals, environmental cleaning, and street sweeping.

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and repair company-owned vehicles, tools, and equipment.

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance.

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and required services.

• Repair and replace tires.

• Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, efficiency, and safety.

• Repair automobiles, trucks, excavators, skid steers, bucket trucks, cranes, wood chippers, and other equipment.

• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components.

• Perform quality inspections before returning trucks and equipment to service.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Valid driver's license required.

• Clean driving abstract.

• Must have own tools.

• Previous experience with diesel engine diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.

• Previous experience with hydraulic system diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

• Gasoline engine diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.

• Small-engine diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.

• Equipment operation.

• Electrical systems.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• PAY: $35.00 Hourly

• Weekly pay

• Company-paid medical and dental coverage for employee and family; begins after four weeks averaging 20 or more hours per week
